hi everyone,

just after some info,I am having the engine rebuilt on monday so we can put more power through it I have all the usual bolt ons(injectors, pump,rdp computer with the flasher,valve springs custom 3.5 exh turbo back)would like to get up around 350rwkw,I have a rebuilt auto with stall already,my main concern is which intercooler to use as I want to keep the standard plenum at the moment(idealy the nizpro set up would be the best option)I have looked into most options,with varying feedback,at the monent it has difillipo pipes over the engine,but im willing to change that.thanks any feedback would be appreciated

So, you want to stick with the stock plumbing for now, but you want to get the Nizpro plenum in the near future.

So you need a cooler that can do both.

A couple that spring to mind...

Hybrid cooler kit. Will bolt up to the standard plumbing for now. And will suit custom plumbing in the future. (As I've done, see HERE)

The Process West Kit, as above. Better cooler, bigger dollars.

I'd recommend doing your plumbing when you get the cooler. Well worth it, and you can make it ready to suit the Nizpro plenum when you take that path.

That will do the job just fine.

yeah loads of cars getting that power with 600 300 75 cores

I run a 600 x 300 x 100 and it does the job well, nice back to back runs with nice consistant numbers. But it is overkill, I think for the street x75 would be fine.

well ive changed my mind again and will be going the whole nizpro set up,ians(goldie)is building the engine at the moment and while I was going to the trouble to do that I thought id do the plenum, bigger injectors etc its alot easier to grab there whole kit as its tried and tested,now just have to wait another week or so and see what sort of power we can achieve,thanks all for the input

Wise move dalts, you won't be disappointed. More cost effective too.
