I own a xr6 turbo ute which ive noticed after driving for a while then coming to a stop I can hear a rattle under the bonnet. cant reall tell where its coming from weather its the belts or belt but to me it sounds like its coming from in the front of the head. sounds like a ballbearing rattling around type noise.any ideas at all? Get a long screw driver and place it on the mounting bolt, then place the screw driver handle to your ear. If the bearing is shot you will hear it quite loudly through the handle....
