My vehicle was fixed instantly (full day), despite being told that there may be a delay in ordering the part. It sounds as though they were prepared for the replacement of the starter switch, but who cares, done and fixed now. Hopefully this one lasts more than a year and a bit.
4ST-XR6 Member 58 Member For: 19y 10m 10d Posted 07/01/07 03:01 AM Posted 07/01/07 03:01 AM common problem ive replaced a couple of these ,any(ford) mechanic can repair or replace these they dont need a sparky they are just putting you off ←I agree, Ive done 3 or 4, next time I might spend the time and actually try do disassemble the button instead of the normal remove and replace procedure, If I find out what causes It I will put up a post.
