Now it looks like the one from FORD not FPV? Why have they done this??????

May as well have the standard wheel.

If I was buying one, I guess Id get the lumpy sports wheel, but there is no need - all of the steering wheels are good. You guys obviosuly havnt driven old minis with hard plastic skinny steering wheels.

The old FPV thick steering wheel had flat leather at the top and a little FPV button badge down the left hand side. Since they have made em standard in the Series II they are the same as the sports option in the standard xr, perferated leather in the top section and no little FPV button. Momo wheels are standard XR size with red, blue or grey bits where as the Sports / FPV wheels are thicker and have the litle silver bits to the left of the horn pad on each side.
