Sheer bloody brilliance. I'd say it's a fair way off from being avail here, but Crikey Moses what a unit!!!

Gotta say, as a guy that will be keeping his car well beyond warranty, I can't wait to see what sort of stuff we'll be running on these cars in a few short years.

So why is noone offering these with generic tunes yet? CAPA list them at $1200 - I'd pay that given that it negates the need for a boost gauge, and the performance measurement features.

Dags: Yeah yeah ok, I know we had a Livewire thread (I posted in this last year), and I shouldnt have created another. By bad. :buttrock:

Still though, almost a year on from the posts above, it appears its now being sold by CAPA for Aussie vehicles.

Has anyone used, or is currently using it here??

I'v been having a play around with one over the last couple of weeks. It's easy to use also alot faster to load up from PC to unit. I havn't set up the Gtec side of it yet but will once I can get around to it.

It has some adjustment that can be done to the tune by the hand set, also if the tuner feels he has the car close to the limit or the owner doesn't want any adjustment it can be locked.

With the Fault code reader & clearer Livewire can be used on other fords.

It also tells you if it's unlocked & how many lifes left in it.

All in all a good unit.

Muzza.

Is anyone using a livewire currently?

Surely some of us here have them... this thread was from years ago but I haven't heard anyone talk about them.

What's the deal - are they any good, price, problems etc
