30,000 Km Service

local dealer has quoted $290.00 for 30,000(ba turbo).Sounds a bit high,any thoughts?

I'd continue to shop around if I were you. My 30,000 service at my dealer cost me just over $100 and I provided the oil.

My 30k service was $274 at supposed trade rates.

Had a few quotes and there wasn't much difference so used the most convenient dealer.

Depends on which oil they use. If its the "edge" then that will be $150 alone from Ford service. Thank you very much.

Never happened to me. I was actually told when purchasing the extended factory warranty (mine is over 3 years old now) that it didn't matter where I got it serviced. They can't knock you back on factory warranty just because it's serviced elsewhere, that sort of sh!t can only be pulled on a 'dealer warranty'.

Your mod's would be the only reason they'd give you the third degree.

I had already done my oil change, so they said $110, but then I got them to do a full coolant/radiator flush and check etc, so it came to $210 all up...
