Nokia Car Kit

Has anyone installed (had someone else install) a Nokia Car Kit utilising the new Audio plugs under the Fuse Compartment. Im having all sorts of trouble finding someone who actually knows where to get the conversion plug....(These are reputable places chasing this info for me too so no names ) but getting a bit pissed at the moment cause everyone is sort of relying on each other to get some answers - hence asking out there to anyone already conected.... so I can let them know...... :idea:

Just ask SOUNDSGOOD at Parramatta on 0412885544.

He installed it in my ute. It works A O.K. B)

No need for an adapter plug. Just get a few (6) male spade connectors and slide them into the correct pins and away you go. (Then tape it up if you feel the need)

That is how I (and I think) most people have done it.

Give Nokia Care a call (1300 366 733), they will be able to give you a list of suppliers and installers in your local area.

If you get a Nokia car kit or even an after market kit it is a sinch to install. I don't know if you have tried this sort of thing and are game.. Honestly it is real easy. Given that Ford gave us the plug (under the dash on the right) to just plug into it is much easier than before...

Go for it yourself and save some money!

I followed the instructions from bdennis and it works fine - I just used 6 crimp on spade connectors
