Close up of the Amp wiring loom

(Two black on RHS are bolted ot the chassis)

(Two ligh blue of LHS go to the speaker)

(Assume the two yellow are power?)

(Assume the red and green are the signal in?)

(Assume thin yellow is the remote power on?)

Great photo's Cam.

So what are you thinking of doing? Modding the system looks fairly straight forward given the way Ford have ounted the speakers and located the amp. l can imagine changing the rear speakers to a decent set would make a large improvement to the sound. Got my doubts as to how much 'real' bass that sub puts out too. Bet its struggling to get below 80hz

Im thinking of a couple of things

1. Just replace the 4 7x5 speakers with better ones

2. Mount an Amp to drive the 4 7x5 aftermarket speakers (perhaps - dont want to loose too much boot space)

3. Replace sub woofer with better 10" speaker using existing factory Amp

- problem being it wont fit in existing parcel shelf cut out.
