Ey... like $2500 doesnt really go a long way.... but it is a good starting point... I think ill go the Edit/custom tune... and see what I can get with the change.... I think valve springs if I need and or tranny cooler, cat and a larger cooler...

Again depends what you want out of your car. With edit, injectors, valve springs and cetre muffler done, my car ran a 12.55 which is great bang-for-buck.

Do that and see how you go - $2500 will cover it all bar valve springs which are expensive to put in. Maybe substitute the cat in place of springs. You will be wrapped with the result.

Yeah ill have to see what change I get from the flasher n tune and then decide on the rest... really want a 'proper cooler' just for looks hehhehe..... Hopefully I dont need springs.... common guys pray with me hehehhe.....If I get a cooler I wont get jectors easy as that and still have the power I want

Thanks alot for the info guys helps alot...

mate... this is my personal opinion only... but for $2.5 K

I would get

-flashtuner and custom tunes $1300-$1500

- 2nd cai for $70

- wog cooler $480

- metal cat $350

- k&n or bmc filter $140

if your chasing 250-270 rwkw... this will be more the sufficient :stirthepot: If your going for more, then injectors and valve springs get a look in

If your palnning on going for more, then spend upfront as otherwise you will be up for more money on custom tunes when you add bits. Depending on who yu choose as a tuner, this could get expensive :crybaby: when choosing a tuner, ask how much for tweaks on tunes if you decide to upgrade or change components :crybaby:

good luck and enjoy :crybaby:

ok I have the 2nd cai and k&n filter so I can save a bit on that.... yeah I have realized I need to do alot of homework..... I think I will be speaking to the WOG about my tunes... he seems to do a good job from reading posts.... But I dont know about this blowing tranny's n clutches when dealing with him... I guess its one of the perks...hehehe

Mate the sad reality is with a stock Transmission, being the T5, T56 or 4 speed auto. You will need to strengthen at least 1 part of them. The ZF is an unknown quanity at this stage.

If you plan on taking power above 240 rwkw( this figure varies on who you talk to).

My 2c, you have $2500, give your car some more power, but make it reliable.

A better cooler and a custom tune, what you have left use to service gearbox, clutch (tranny cooler if auto), brakes and tidy up suspension.

Scotty thxx mate... food for thought... Im new to these FORD's making the switch from Expensive Daewoo so any info is good info...

So a tranny cooler is the way to go is it... I heard shift kits also give the gear box some extra time before it dies..... or if it is done during the tune there will be no need for it (as in that line pressure stuff)... In holdens every second auto has one but havent heard of many people with em in T's..... I would love for the T to churp through gears... Mmmmm

Remember one thing, insurance! Incase of an accident if its not listed its gone, money thrown out of the window even if it’s not your fault. Unless you want to pay higher insurence fee.

If you decide to list all your mods then I guess you dont have $2500 anymore
