Ic Piping

This will probably sound stupid but I thought I would ask anyway, is it possible to get rid of all them ugly stock intercooler piping, and replace them with say 3 inch polished piping when I buy a bigger cooler ? Or do I need to buy an upgraded plenum chamber cause of the position of the throttle body ?

Any help or insults about my stupidy are welcome

Yep, you sure can. The stock rubber hoses are very restrictive and should go into the wheelie bin asap.

Hey Daniel I know you can get 3 inch polished piping I have seen it in the street ford mag's on a few cars I even think thet ENVY T has it done, It dose look good aswell but is it worth the money?

I think diflipo(if that's how you spell it) make a kit or they just do it custom.But in all yes you can get it and I think it looks sweet, also if you go down this road you should get your standed plenium polished aswell.

I dont necessarly want it for the "bling" factor although it does look sweet, I want it for the fastest and least restrictive pass

But I will hit up ENVY-T and see what he has done, anyone else out there with custom plumbing without a aftermarket plenum chamber ?? please come forward
