Rating scale is 1-5 with 1=bad and 5=great1) which brand and model of tyre do you run?2) rate and comment dry brake3) rate and comment dry corner4) rate and comment dry launch5) rate and comment dry drift6) rate a comment wet generalme1) Dunslop SP Sport 3000A - original equipment2) 4 - been quite impressed with the stopping - ask me again after I've hit something...3) 3 - front end not bad - will push out reasonably easily when provoked on a hills run - rear a bit slipery although can be helpful to push it out and make up for the lacking front end4) 2 - too easy to fire up - and she's still stock! - can barely get it down5) 3 - good and bad - goes easily, predictable and comes back nicely but it's almost too easy to break traction - again, especially being stock6) 2 - haven't turned much in the wet and don't usually bother to risk it - the rear is slippery as

Michelin Pilot Preceda 22. 9/10, Ford Premium Brake package is definately the weak link in this equation, I can sometimes come to a hard stop without activating ABS3. 10/10, Push them as hard as you want, and they will just keep sticking to the road. The stock suspension will scare you before the tyres give way.4. 10/10 Very hard to do a proper launch, as mostly you want a bit of slip to get a good launch, these tyres don't slip.5. 8/10 hard to get into a drift, and the drifts don't last long6. 9/10 I drive just as hard in the wet as I do in the dry, with the only exception being straight line acceleration. I can break traction in the wet when launching. My only dissapointment with these tyres is that they like to melt on the track when driving at 10/10's for more than 10 mins or so.

Provides awesome traction around corners, once heated, traction gets better and better.4. Launch?? 5. Ribbed during drift?? 6. Better when turned inside out for better driver/surface communication :grininvasion: Darren Edited 15/09/06 01:08 AM by Darren
