Picked her up from the dealer yesterday and no error codes were recorded. I've not experienced it since then but will keep an ear open over the weekend as it's going back in on Monday to finish some of the other trim issues it went in for also.

I suspect that in itself may be related because sometimes whenever we open the boot to toss the shopping in, at times the alarm will go off so that microswitch may be causing some problems.

lol, I did exactly tthe same thing... it randomly beeps under all sorts of conditions, and the light doesn't stay on long enough in the cluster for me to recognise...
