hi, I have a 4spd auto T. I just wanted to know how much damage launching the car at 2000rpms does to the car? (holding the brake and stepping on the gas)

I remember reading somewhere on here that it doesnt do too much damage, but I cant find that post.

thanks

after doing that quite a few times the oil pump shattered into 10 pieces they are only thin and when stalling it up all the time they tend to get quite hot,it happened in the middle of nowhere took 4hrs for a tow truck so make sure you do it close to a work shop lol

If your doing it on daily basis and you are worried about it stuffing up then I guess you should upgrade/strengthen your transmition.
