Hey Guys,

My drivers seat has developed a squeek/creak sound. Has this happened to anyone else? Im looking to pinpoint the problem so I can take it straight to Ford to be fixed with minimal stuffing around.

Cheers guys,

Sorry I can't help but I do have a somewhat related story. On my old EF, the seat base welds came unstuck, and I reported it prior to service, for adding to their 'to do' list.

When I picked the car up, they said they couldn't find aything wrong with the seat, as it tracked normally and the adjustments worked.

As I picked up the seat base and handed it to the service tech he looked somewhat embarrassed.

that's pretty poor, these seats are manufactured to so-called "Australian Safety Standards" and for them to fail like that is an issue they shouldnt be skimming over. Make sure they check it thoroughly.

Mine creaks and the problem is where you plug the seat belt in rubbing on the

seat. My seats are leather so if you have leather seats that could be the problem.
