The Turbo Territory also uses an engine oil cooler. See attached doc that shows all the various bits. I assume this is very similar if not the same as the F6 (have not bothered to look as yet).

Hi Robin,

Another way, which I will be fitting with the gearbox install,

Is to buy an external oil cooler, which I purchased thru Ebay for $55, Im will mount that within the LHS gaurd, run plumbing back to were the oil filter mounts, I have bought a adaptor plate from rare spares in syd that mounts between the block and filter ($59) this enable you to retain the standard oil filter, it has an inlet and outlet ports which the plumbing feeds into, this method will completly bypass the engine cooling system and I THINK will be more efficient than the FPV setup... No testing has been done as it hasn't been installed, just purchased... I will post some pics when its done..

looks like the trans is now cooled by using a swandwitch bolck instead of the radiator

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the info. I have ended up getting hold of the FPV cooler, etc, and went that way due to ease of fittment. I think your system will be more efficient as it will have a much larger temperature differential, where as the water cooled system has an ambient of 80 degrees or so. I look forward to see the pics when your done.

Cheers
