I came across a guy who has a complete xr6T engine forsale with wiring loom's and auto box, it seem's fairly cheap but I was just wondering what they are actually worth. What sort of $$$ are they going for realisticly. Only looking at buying it so I can resell it and hopefully make some money.

last I heard about 6 months ago 5-7k was about he range.

Rang around the sarvo and I can buy a complete ba 6 cyl engine for $65o, no one had a T in stock and most wouldn't give me a price. Is there any difference between an xr6 engine and a T engine besides the hairdryer.

The block should be the same. There is a 'sht load' of difference in internals ie; rods,pistons,valve springs,cams etc.. I'm led to believe.

The wreacker's told me they are internally the same except the head which has something done to drop the c/r. I was under the understanding they were all the same bar the F6.

No, I was told XT xr6 and xr6t are all the same engine except the T has a depcompressed head whatever that means.

From what iv'e gathered the F6 has stronger rod's and piston's and better valve springs. Although I am only going off what I have read on these forums and the AFF, I know bugger all about the 6's I like my v8's.

that's crap. The lower compression is from dished pistons. Rods are different, valve springs, valves, sump etc. Cams are the same.
