Normally I don,t change wheels,suspension,exhaust on my cars because I figure the factory has done the r&d on the car spent hundreds of thousands of dollars, many months of development. so what would be the chance of me getting spring rates, shock valving, wheel offsets, roll centres, and a car that will start and run to its full potential from -20 to 50 degrees celsius.........SFA

LOL... you'd pay a shop to do that dude, anything can be improved

Porsche GT3? Pretty bloody hard to improve on. Even with the RS they didn't do much to the suspension :spoton: Just made it alot lighter.

If you are in it for looks then people today think bigger is better. Personally I had 19's and that was just right with the correct suspension set up for me.

From a performance perspective particularly if you are going for rwkw then bigger is worse. Not only from a ride perspective, handling etc but traction wise. I had half the grip on my 19's that I had on 17's hence why I never ran with 19's on as I would always get a better time with smaller diametre wheels and thicker profile tyres.

For me stealth is the way to go but that's my opinion, why attract uneccessary attention unless you want to be "fully sik".

Cheers

22" = wank factor

Part of the suspention is the tyre, a sliver of tyre makes for sh*thouse ride and handling. Small profile tyres have little in terms of slip and flex for cornering.

On top that 22" tyres are really expensive, low quality and wear out quickly.

Large rims are for clowns who cant drive
