went to herrod today, picked up a BMC filter when I was there and asked about the tunes. I got a price of box tune and injectors for $1350. that's a custom tune to, that's pretty cheap compared to ne1 elses prices ive seen.

how many on this site running Herrods custom tunes ?? :msm:

I think I might be the only one - does that count? :spoton::smilielol::spoton:

I purchased one of the Herrod Stealth's and only ran the tunes that came with it for a week, as stated before get the box as cheap as you can from who ever you can and get it custom tuned to your car, you will not be disappointed.

Ithink they might havesome tunes already programmed, and then sting you for loading them into your box.

Pretty expensive 12 minutes of work. :spoton:

from wat im told the car spends time on the dyno, weather it is modifying tunes they already have or just uploading tunes they already have done I dont know, I said I wanted a custom tune not a generic one and yeh that's wat I was told the cost is. Guess I might find out soon enough.

So you've been to Herrods and had work done there then???

Mine spent about two hours or a little over (and they called it a "quick tune") on their dyno being tuned. Rob seemed pretty fussy about how he did it - or maybe the whole thing involved the use of mirrors.:smilielol:

No I have not, as you can see by the smilie after my post it was a sh*t stir.

Unfortunatley my pockets were not deep enough to get work done by Herrods. :stirthepot:

hehe herrod is like the cheapest ive seen for a box and tune, however they recomend that you get a stainless cat back system at 1350 with that to, though I wont be doing that as I dont think that the extra drivability you might get from it is worth that much. they also wont do anything beyond what the stock injectors are capable of on a t, as they determine that the stock internals aint up to it. Im confused about this one as I have seen plenty of places offer more power reliably.
