In hindsight I should have got countersunk screws to hold the MDF to the door, but it worked out fine with some double sided sticky foam tape to make a seal.I still have the RH door to do, but time for some food! If you have leaks around the edge of the driver you get phaze cancelation at certain frequencies which dramatically effects the the sound Look good though Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/25974-custom-stereo-install/page/29/#findComment-426650 Share on other sites

It's not perfect but I might give the silicone a go if I'm not happy with it Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/25974-custom-stereo-install/page/29/#findComment-426653 Share on other sites

Pulling the ICC out is literally a 1 minute job anyway Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/25974-custom-stereo-install/page/29/#findComment-426672 Share on other sites
