I have lowered the car at pedders 2 weeks ago. Looks good and handles better. its not too low. I ll take some photos of it on saturday. I left the stock shocks on. its more than adequate as long as u dont go too low.

I recommend it.

I paid around $400 here in canberra for springs and install etc. It looks heaps better, especially when you got a few people in the rear! fat people like me and my bro especially :spoton:

Heres a few pics of how it looks with 19s on, and factory 17s.

its obviously lower then standard, but not crazy low. ride quality is still good, feels a little firmer with less obvious body roll.

That's a hot car there Jimmy... love the colour.

I have Kings SL/SSL springs in my T with the stock shocks and it looks good, handles well and isn't too low (though the 20's help bring it up a bit) and the ride quality is excellent once again even with 35 profile 20's, it's brilliant on long trips...

All up it cost me $450 fitted...

hey mate,

just wondering how you go in terms of going up driveways and over speedhumps etc. I sometimes scrape my completely standard xr6 going up driveways. im thinking of getting mine lowered soon but im not too sure how it will go getting into driveways and speedhumps?

cheers

Great thanks mate!

Just out of interest how much did the springs set you back??

Cheers

it cost me $520 installed. I might have got ripped off a bit but they did a good job. they had to do the back springs twice because he said he wasnt happy with the first set that he put on.

regarding the driveways or speed bumps, so far I have not scraped underneath the car except the mudflaps. but u have to take it easy otherwise it will scrap.

I ll take some photos for u today. gonna give it a good wash and clean now

I dunno what their springs are like ( I cant imagine they'd be too different from king springs) but stay away from pedders shocks, you will be replacing them after a year.

I dont have too many hassles with driveways etc.. but most of them here are quite flat. I dont even attempt some of them. I've had my fair share of scraping the underneath, but at the end of the day its nothing really visible!
