F6 UTE - Your post confuses me, what is your point?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Simplified..

I can't understand why F6's are so slow once modified.

Whether it's weight or gearing, they're all the same.

MPH is always there, power is being made.

But are they? How many modded auto Phoons are there with published track times?

So too is my car when you look at it. The MPH is there, the ET isn't. Probably something to do with the 6-speed manual.

You know what they say, if you can't beat them, join them. Might go looking for a new F6 Auto Typhoon soon.

One we know of. It was hot and it went slower, with a 40rwkw jump in power.

6 litre L76-260kw-510nm

and its bolted to that lovely 4 speed automatic.

I cant say that the ford 4 speed auto is a smooth shifter. In stock form it was a bit sloppy and hairy. The shift mod cleaned it up a bit thou.

I love my fords but if the new VE platform is any good,They will probably be as good if not better package the the BF Falcon.Who cares if the motors there using are pushrod actuated. They have proven very modable and are lighter than the Boss motors.

I welcome the new engine so it can rub it in fords face, to make a V8 perform from factory.

I will now put my flame proof suit on. :spoton:

If the VE picks up the reported 250kg of extra weight it will be the Ford V8's that will piss all over the Expensive Daewoo models. You can't put on that much weight and not have it hugely effect performance.
