RapidF6Typhoon Member 31 Member For: 19y 5m 1d Posted 29/01/06 07:10 AM Share Posted 29/01/06 07:10 AM A local shop got a dyno and put on a day for the locals, decided to run the Typhoon up for a run.Results :228.86 RWKW (306.9HP)709.23 Nm Torque (523.1 Ftlb)I also ran up my coupe and the results were consistant with other dyno runs at different shops, however the torque figure seems huge......can this be correct ?My brother also ran up his car and the results were also spot on !Only mod to the Typhoon is a K&N filter. Power reading definately looks right though.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>What gear was the car dyno'd in?550Nm at the flywheel is multiplied through the trans and diff and will usually give a higher reading at the rears.The lower the gear tested the higher the torque figure shown. The nm reading seems excesseive by a fair margin unless it is on the Gooses Dyno .For context the Goose apparently makes 950nm @ 345rwkw and Extreme F6 840nm(ish) @ 400rwkw and he is a tuner so go figure I will consult my stock dyno sheet when I get back to Sydney and let you know.
