Awol Power Is Back

As some of you know, I've had some "issues" with the car that have had a lot of people scratching their heads over the last 12 months or so.

Vonny from FIST said from day one he thought it was a valve spring issue. For various reasons, including the fact that I'd already had the stocko's replaced with XR8 springs and the fact that my symptoms were different from a lot of others with springs problems, I (and others) thought it couldn't be a spring problem.

Anyways, Xr8 springs out - nizpro springs in - problems gooooonnnnneeeee!

I'm back up over 300rwkw's on pump fuel in 30+ degree heat and QLD humidity and can't get the grin of my face again.

Thanks Ali G, Jeff (always goes that extra mile), Shane (you should see this guy work - really knows his BA's - and everthing else) and Vonny (I should've listened to you 12 months ago).

I've seen the frustration you've had on a couple occasions and it's fantastic to see the issue resolved.

Just remember to spray the WD 40 in the wheelarchers ASAP. Makes the job of removing the rubber much easier.

Wasnt making power to full revs, the power curve was falling over around 4000rpm....

It certainly does feel like a different car after not having that power for so long. The extra 40 odd rwkw's make a huge difference.
