There is a very simple explaination, because it's a hobby... Very rarely are hobbies anything more than a money pit... It's rare that you get the money you invested into your hobbie back, but you had a good time doing it...

If it was that's a shame! I've heard that car has had $500k spent on it! :sleepystuff:

$500k sounds a bit extreme and hard to justify and would assume it would cost around $50,000 - $75000 to reliably build that much horsepower.

Regardless of the cost it's an awesome effort.

the 550k I think is a total to date he has spent so far, he has had a lot of problems.
