Very rarely are hobbies anything more than a money pit... It's rare that you get the money you invested into your hobbie back, but you had a good time doing it...A hobby is building model cars, woodturning or baking flans or something similar...$150,000 on a cooling system for a Commodore, no matter how impressive has surely got to come under the 'Sheer Lunacy' catergory? I've heard that car has had $500k spent on it! $500k sounds a bit extreme and hard to justify and would assume it would cost around $50,000 - $75000 to reliably build that much horsepower.Regardless of the cost it's an awesome effort.Robbie.the 550k I think is a total to date he has spent so far, he has had a lot of problems.
