On the Eve..

I had the entire family (4x tin lids, 1 x mum, 1 x ex, 1 x me) over and Cooked.. not burned.. the traditional dinner, all diners well and healthy. :idunno:

Xmas day was traditionally putridly hot, pool like a hot bath with the customary thunder storm at the end of the day. NOICE

Boxing Day - my non biological family over, all left overs goooonnne... wahoo, was great to see all the kids together and grown up, however still performing the same antics as 8 years ago..... :nono:

Chrissy started well anita's sister and husband staying with us but they had to leave early xmas morning because of some family issues back home.

So we booked flights to canberra and spent 2 days with kitty and aaron.

What a great xmas we had.

Even though I am now sick I had a great time.

Got loads of DVD's (got about $200 worth of give vouchers from DVD type stores)

Money to buy an above ground pool (Jen is at home today finishing setting it up as as I'm stuck at work  ) but a swim at the end of the day will be great...

Parents re-did the pond in the back yard as their chrissy present to us, which now looks really cool... The previous owner of our house had a pond set up and just before he moved out he took everything from the pond which could be taken including the pump, the upper pond (don't think it was cemented in) I think he'd have probably even dug up the bottom pond if he could have gotten away with it...

Also I'm only now able to look at food again... we had 11 people around for chrissy dinner, and yet we had enough food on the table to feed a 3rd world nation for a year, there was at least one of every type of roast possible, prawns and smoked salmon, more veggies than you could poke a pointy stick at, and then there was dessert...

A good day was had by all...
