Just small marks and scratches but none the less, there is existing damage there. What is everyone's advice on purchasing the vehicle? How much would it cost to get the bumper fixed or a new one?Cheers,Dan Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/22068-advice-on-xr6-turbo-purchase/ Share on other sites

I personally always get worried about owners selling cars with damages as why wouldnt they fix it and then sell it? This is my personal opinion and please do not take it as if I am trying to put you off from buying the car or anything. The car was advertised with $29900 on it and he said due to the damage he would sell it for $26500 and he needs to sell it for house repayments. Have contacted a friend in Sydney to see if he might go and have a look at it!Cheers,Dan Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/22068-advice-on-xr6-turbo-purchase/#findComment-326461 Share on other sites

Posted 21/12/05 09:31 AM Share Posted 21/12/05 09:31 AM I bought a 5 speed and wish I had either bought an auto or 6 speed because I plan to mod my car and the 5 speed has reliability issues when you start modifying. But if you don't plan to modify your car then I should think a 5 speed XR6T would be fine, I love mine Jack Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/22068-advice-on-xr6-turbo-purchase/#findComment-326871 Share on other sites

The seller has to off load the car and as quickly as possible. Wave some cash in his face and it will be yours. Guest Senator Guests Posted 22/12/05 09:35 PM Share Posted 22/12/05 09:35 PM A good price with the low K's it has. Get an NRMA inspection done, about $150 I think, but you get great piece of mind.
