F6 Weighs 100kg More Than Xr6t

Surely the bodykit alone isnt the culprit? Can ne1 shed any light on this?

Doesnt sound right to me.

Heavier things:

- Intercooler (Alloy)

- Sunglasses holder and clock (Plastic)

- Seats could be heavier

- Wheels would be heavier

But I cant see 100kgs worth.

You will find that it is the BREMBO's that are standard, is what has caused the 100kg increase, has anyone picked up a brembo disc, there heavy.

an extra 100 kgs is a damn hefty set of brakes!

Most likely it is between Mk1 XR6T 5 Speed and Mk2 Typhoon (gearbox and brakes and etc may add up to the difference.

Its about 50kgs. Climate control, premium sound, bigger wheels etc.

According to my figures the BA MKII XR6T is 1672kg and the BA Typhoon is 1715kg.

That would equate to 43kg.

Figures are from Motor

After the Typhoon clutch fix Motor starting stating the Typhoon's weight as 1776kg.

So there are some discrepancies with the figures.
