I was hoping to draw power directly from the battery to it, but wire in a relay from the other radiator thermo fan wires so the new one will come on when ever the radiator fans activate from the ecu settings.Just wondering, What is the Best brand of thermofan to use, and where to get it from?? Im not worried about the cost, just the best one available. it needs to be small, about 200-250mm diameter?Has anyone done a similar setup?Any Suggestions??? Ralph Wiggum Moar Powar Babeh Lifetime Members 19,332 Member For: 19y 8m 6d Gender: Male Location: Perth Posted 05/11/05 07:38 AM Share Posted 05/11/05 07:38 AM my cooler is 195mm by 280mm. i reckon it will be perfect. how good are you with electric wiring. i spoke to simon from extreme ford tuning about running a signal wire from the existing fan wiring and he seems to think that the fan two speed settings is done using varible voltage to alter the fan speed. im hoping to pick up dcsl8 on monday and have a go at wiring it in. i'l put a temp gun on the cooler to check the cut in and out temps to prevent overheating(i dont think that'l be a problem with the bigger cooler) and over cooling with the fan if i have a win i'l take some pictures and fill ya in.....
