I got a extra load bearing leaf put in just for this sort of thing.

it makes the ride a little harsh when it is empty but its great with a bit of weight in the back

and yeah maybe it was touching the bumpstops but it didnt feel harsh at all, it was quite a smooth ride even over speedhumps, I thought it wasnt on them because the suspension still had travel :/

the "suspension travel" u felt wouldve been a combination of bump stop squishing, and tyre sidewall sag.

Fair enough - I believe you

I am starting to get sick of the ride quality of my ute, its good, but its bloody hard! I never noticed though until I got my compnay car which is an XT with sports kit, and its a magic carpet in comparison. I am also starting to notice the rear shocks feel like the struggle to control rebound. You know when you hit a big pump and the arse jumps up in the air before settling back down? I hate that, it make the car look cheap I reckon. And its uncomfortable.

I have reset leafs, do you think its the leafs, the bump stops or the shocks or all three?

Had a similar problem in another car... the springs were k-mac but the shocks were modified stockies. It would be a nice hard ride and good for cornering but unsettle it a bit and she bounced a fair bit... axle tramp like a b**ch too. Problem was the shocks, but only because of the hard springs (unless the shocks really were rooted and I didnt know it).

well I got to report my ute no longer loks like that.. some F*****t decided to side swipe it today and collect my mirror, dent the drivers side guard, scrape the drivers side door , and scrach my front wheel..

and the fooker kept going.. no numberplate no nuthin :(

some ppl should be hung by theyr nuts and theyr throats slit and left to bleed

Sorry to here that man - I am always in fear of something happening to my ute! You think I'd be over it by now, but these things are just so damn good!

yeah I got a quote from a good friend with a bodyshop, hes going to fix the damage for me and respray the front bumper(previous scratch) for a total of $500 which is damn good if you ask me

I allready got a replacement mirror from a wreckers in mint condition for $70 and replaced the black panel at the back of it with my original blue one (which by a total miracle escaped unharmed)

im still pissed off though.. MFers
