hey everyone..

Im new to this, this being my 1st post aswell..

I dont drive a BA, but I do drive an AU XR6....

which leads me to my questions.. (after having a chat with a mate)

Will a Unichip from a BA XR6T or just an XR6 or even an XT, fit/work in an AU ?

ie, are they compatible?

my friend seems to think they are.. because im currently looking for one 2nd hand cause I havent got 1300 to spent on a new one..

so I thought I'd ask the question before I rumage through every forsale section on every forum I can fine to grab a chip..

Should I look for anything in particular?

I've been told AU and BA chips are the same, but anything Pre-AU wont fit??

any help would be much appreciated..

thanks,

Matt

the capa flasher unit (edit) would be the way to go over the unichip if you dont mind spending $950+ custom tuning fee's. would yield better results but the unichip at the right price might be good budget power!

Better results in your opinion.....This point can be argued.

However they are both Performance enhancing technologies that do a great job at making our cars go faster.

I dont see a problem with fitting a Uni Chip to an AU.....there was a guy at my Tuners place a couple weeks back who had one on an EL, so I dont see the problem.
