well after a long wait, I finally got my clutch issues fixed.

had the clutch fitted yesterday and I must say, this clutch definately isnt for SWMBO or crammed traffic situations! lucky im in the country.

engagment is very fast, letting the clutch out gradually and then BANG your off! say the clutch has 8' travel, all the action is in 1' movement. shudders a bit if the revs are to low or u let it out to slowly, but other than that it clamps VERY VERY hard and it doesnt chirp second no more, it DRIFTS second!

it feels awesome as your screaming through the gears, it just drops in so hard its like driving a big shift kitted auto. down-changes are alright, not as smooth as the std clutch but that's as to be expected I guess.

all in all, im happy with it. I knew this clutch wasnt 100% streetable but I was prepared for it. my g/f barely ever drives the car so its usually just me. quite an experience using such a clutch actually! hehe, thanks xtreme!!

I had the same clutch as trough Lolly, pic's in "my garage" and is identicle. The great thing about it is mine drove like a stocker but was rated to 600HP. The wife drove it all the time, and the dealer could not tell it had an aftermarket in it.

I had mine done at race Brakes in melb. Cost me approx $800 from memory. It handled my 305rwkw so well that even with a T5 it did not damage the box but instead broke an axel!. And BTW it would also fit a T56.

One word of advice though careful when you get into another car with a stock clutch in it. You almost put your foot through the firewall.

the actual heaviness of the clutch hasnt changed, it might even be a smidge lighter, just the way it acts is different.

Oh k mines heaps heavier than stock but its does act exactly the same as you described.
