October 25, 200520 yr #61 finally got my car on the dyno in adelaide....lets just say that the ASE cooler drops 27rwkw on back to back runs due to heatsoak!!!!!!!!!!! im not saying another word. That wouldnt have anything to do with turning the treads or a slipping clutch??? Lumpy
October 25, 200520 yr #62 I still have my ASE cooler sitting here at home, havnt had time to fit it. 27rwkw drop, that's a fair bit. Should I ask for a refund for my cooler and get another. Would the PWR be any better or would this get the same amount of heatsoak. Maybe the ASE is still not big enough. I actually thought it was going to be bigger.
October 25, 200520 yr #63 Author igsta, do what u feel is right.. but if I knew what I knew now I wouldve gone the PWR route.

October 25, 200520 yr #65 The wog's cooler is apparently bigger and takes around 40 mins to fit with no grinding whatsoever...And its cheaper!!!Chris

October 25, 200520 yr #67 my xtc cooler (wog cooler) gave me 3 consistent back to back runs of the same rwkw figure not the prettiest under the sun but it works... and was fitted in under an hour

The ones the guys currently have were more though I think. He told me his is bigger than the ASE one I think. Can you confirm this Nick?Chris
October 25, 200520 yr #69 finally got my car on the dyno in adelaide....lets just say that the ASE cooler drops 27rwkw on back to back runs due to heatsoak!!!!!!!!!!! im not saying another word. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>That wouldnt have anything to do with turning the treads or a slipping clutch??? Lumpy <{POST_SNAPBACK}>nup clutch was fine until that night. musta been the big fuggin skid I dropped to vent my frustrations!!!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>are u sure lolly the wog said that cluch must of been slipping on dyno as that would explain why your power curve dropped so sharply.* cut and paste from another thread*lolly I would'nt b so quick 2 point towards the ASE cooler as there were other factors ie- dyno fan small prob flow air equilivent to about 30 kph!- clutch slip possably worse each back 2 back run?- loose plumbing remember it blew off when road tested.there could have been many other factors also.as others have said they have had no problems and have gained power!only a comperhensive test using mutipule temp sensors on- air box inlet ,outlet ,manifold and using a consistant test mule-standard car without any issues ie- slipping clutch, would prove results.in short best not 2 bag someone/product untill u are 100% sure after doing thorough tests..........results from the weekend were inconclusive 2 say the least
October 25, 200520 yr #70 Author I know what bloody happened!!!NO lose hoses when back to back runs conducted.NO clutch slip at the power levels where heat-soak was evident.IF fan speed was to slow it wouldve affected first run aswell as the 2nd...
