Which of the above tyres have you used or know would suit best for 330rwkw or more.

I am thinking of getting either the Yokohama or the Nitto's but want some thoughts from the members here.

There has been tons of debate on this issue like so many threads - do try the search function as there should be a lot of info there, albeit mostly quite subjective. Amongst the first question you'll raise with your post it what size wheels are you running and your budget too.

Good luck!

Ihave got 17's and my budget around $350,as long as the tyre grips good with that power, and have good treadwear.

I have searched for topics regarding this but all the topics that I have read from previous, the members havent mentioned if their cars are modded or standard except for DR Z which I think said 277rwkw with the michellins. So I dont want to buy a tyre that will be the same as the dunlops I am running now.

In terms of bang for the buck, grip, wear and low noise Michelin Pilot Precedas. Read the past Motor Magazine (I think) test and they stacked up extremely well in every section of their testing and come in below $300 fitted.

My car is due for new shoes, so I will be getting the Michelin Pilot Precedas after reding Cro's review and also Motor' s testing.

I do not have anywhere near the rwkw you run, but at the end of the day you need to consider grip vs. wear, for the type of power you are running, you would most likely need a street drag radial, but they do not last very long and are not designed to be a daily driven tyre. I think the MPP's are the best comprimise.

P.S most of the tyres you have listed will cost more than $350 per corner.

What rim size do you have?

If 17":

Michelin Pilot Preceda's will give you better grip in wet than Dunlop SP3000A, and sh*tloads better grip in dry than Dunlop SP3000A and SP9000.

My only reservation with these tyres is that there is a big drop between wet and dry performance. You need to really be on the guard when in the wet because you are so used to their absolutely sensational dry grip.

$275 a corner

Pirelli P Zero Nero's will give you better grip in the wet than Dunlop SP3000A and SP9000's, but in dry will only be better than Dunlop SP3000A's. Michelin Pilot Preceda's are much better in the dry.

$340 a corner

Both of these tyres are the best you can get in 17".

If 18":

Michelin Pilot Sport 2 are the best road tyres in the world, nothing will come close.

If I end up keeping this car, I'll be upgrading to 18's just so I can get these tyres.

Even if I end up getting a Typhoon I'll be driving to Bob Janes straight from pick up to get these tyres.

Best price I got so far was $650 a corner.

All the other tyres you mentioned wouldn't even get a rating compared to the ones I mentioned above.

Nittos may be relativley cheap, but you'll only get 5000k's from them, as with the other drag radials...

Pay more now, save l8r.
