I have a spare slot @ number 3 that the wog can do a tune in ...no worries :stirthepot:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

that might be the go I've got a spare slot to. that way can compare from my other custom tune and see what I like best on the street and what works best at the drags. I believe there's a lot more potential to safely tune heaps more power in my car with the new exhaust

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Exactly, different tunes, different power delivery I assume.. I'm not after bulk HP, but will be good to see how the ute reacts to different tuning methods and maps..

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

There is an art in tuning and the best part is no two tuners are the same and it’s always good to take your head out of the sand and take a look over the fence and compare.

I have no doubt we have some good tuners here in WA but the east coast has some to and visits like this only go to improve everyone’s tunes.

Each one seems to have a different approach and differing results all beit good and bad.

The Wogs biggest problem with his tunes is they come on that hard with that much torque you need a top shelf clutch and Gearbox….

I look forward to the visit…..maybe Jordak you can have a bit of a dyno day when they are being done so others can come and meat him and see the results first hand?

also it would be good to have some1 that's not wary of pushin mk11 internals well past the 330rwkw mark in a manual considering I have nizpro valve springs, a well run in 4500km old motor and have eliminated all the restrctions in the system so the motor and turbo aren't stressing no where near as much. Also I want my speed limiter removed it's so frustrating hitting the speed limiter in 5th before redline with a whole nother gear. At least u fpv boys get a 250k limiter instead of the poxy 230.

A dyno day would be a great idea, could also run both maps back to back to get an accurate indication of power and torque curves throughout the rev range

I would be down for a look and see for sure!! :stirthepot:

Steve, if it is appropriate and a few are intersted in turning up to have a look etc and if there is going to be a dyno present. Maybe we could get another BBQ happening and raise some $$$ for the forum.

total cost all up for flasher and wog tune??

dynowog,  will I defn need a new clutch?

I have a std t5...

:stirthepot::spoton:

I would opt for the wog soft cock tune..... otherwise you wont only be up for a new clutch but box also.... unless you are looking for a reason to upgrade the box to a T56??

the soft cock tune still kicks a$$ :sofa:

my soft cock tune is 251 rwkw
