There are in fact many differences between Advantage 2.9 and 3.0. From a tuning point of view though the latest Advantage 2.9 database will be simply ported across in the new format. The greatest benefit with 3.0 is the live update feature which allows the switched on tuner to update their database at the click of a button on the Internet

granted but that's to make a tuners life easier more so than extra items for added power production.

couple of driveability thing that will help but when tuned well there were never any drivability things / issues any how!

the major differences were

ease of use

the graphs

model compatability eg: focus, au, Expensive Daewoo etc.

and the sct for dummies instruction manual!!! version 1 which we got on the training day!!!

Good to hear.

Got to play with V2.9 on Thursday - quite a few more table available on that version compared to the previous one. Made programming the turbo settings even easier. And just to think the boost tables aren't what we thought they were..... Got my car to run 5 psi from 2000 - 6000rpm, previously I wasnt able to run below 10psi. the 15psi boost line is now perfectly flat. Throttle control parameters are good to have control over as well.

Can't wait for V3.0 to be released.
