Strapp Ford in Kew.

They are great. Have been using them on 2 different T's for the last 2.5-3 years.

Have fixed a ton of issues for me.

They also offer something pretty cool - overnight servicing. Drop your car off in the evening, and pick it up early morning on the way to work. If it will require any unusual parts, be sure they know beforehand so can get them in.

From my experience the worst is City Ford Melbourne, the best is Bayford in Coburg. The two dealerships are like chalk and cheese when it comes to after sales service.

Had the car serviced at Strapp in Burwood which is closer to home than Strapp Doncaster.

Andrew the Service Manager is ex Strapp Doncaster and was very professional.

I got the 15,000 klms service done at $346 - about $100 more than others say it should cost.

I got very good service and the workshop facilities look pretty good.

I complained about the wine in first gear (auto) and was told that it was pretty normal but ION the manufacturers have offered to supply new planetary gears and Strapp will rebuild it under warranty if I want.

I haven't had it done yet but however the whine is pissing me off. It seems that new planetary gears may not fix the problem as it is a bit of luck if you get "quiet gears".

The noise is because the gears are straight cut and just noisy because of it - so says Strapp Ford anyway.

Some little things were fixed but others seem to be "just the way it is" with the BA.

Interestingly, I have just developed the brake shudder and will have it back to them soon for fix up - I hope.

If I keep the car, I will put DBA 4000's on to solve the problem if Ford can't/won't fix the brakes.

Can anyone recommend a mod-friendly dealer in Melbourne? One of my door actuators is playing up so it will have to go to dealer to be fixed.

With the modded exhaust, it will standout as modified for sure.
