13/09/05 04:17 PM13/09/05 04:17 PM #3 Hate to burst your bubble, but the Expensive Daewoo plant was down for almost a working week (3 shifts) because they were upgrading the bits for VE during August.
13/09/05 07:06 PM13/09/05 07:06 PM #4 The plant may have been closed but they would have had the cars made any way because they would have worked a round it.Ian
13/09/05 10:51 PM13/09/05 10:51 PM #5 A Focus shortage, with some customers told they will have to wait up to four months, restricted the car's tally to 922.OUCH!!I can understand waiting 4 months for a T but 4 months for a focus, I know where I would be telling them to put it
13/09/05 11:37 PM13/09/05 11:37 PM #6 What a stupid article. Its supposed to be all about how Falcon outsold Dunnydores yet nowhere does it mention how many they actually sold....of either car. Just the difference between them of 208, and they were both more than the Corrollas 4783. And then how many of each were utes....And also how many a lot of other cars sold....

14/09/05 12:31 AM14/09/05 12:31 AM #8 From what I can tell the article is talking about cars sold, not cars built, so who cares if the plant was closed for a week...Most buyers probably wouldn't even know (unless they did their research first, and anyway if your heart is set on a car it takes more than shutdown of a plant for a week to turn you off), they'd just be told a delivery date and that's all they'd care about...Good on you ford...

It is cars SOLD. I think it was implied that Expensive Daewoo sales were down because there were not pumping out cars from the factory. However like myself and Goldie say I am sure they had plenty of stock and planned ahead of time... In otherwords, no excuse for Expensive Daewoo not selling as many.
