Hi everyone,

I've been flat out working over the last few months and haven't had the chance to spend much time on this forum. I have the flu and am home now...

Just wondering if any of you have fitted the following cosmetic mods. I know the BA tailights were out of stock for a while, but there have been over 50 units sold already. Aussie Car Enhancements in Melton still don't have them in stock. If anyone's fitted them to their T, I'd love to see pics.

Also, has anyone fitted the vented bulge bonnet that is being sold by HO in Melbourne?

I must admit I like the look of it on a T. If anyone's fitted one of these, please post pics.

Finally, I'd like to see pics of T owners who have fitted stripes on their T's. There are dealers fitting them with XRT signage. I have even seen T's with bonnet bulge decals that are labelled XR6T or TURBO 240. I know Aaron has done this on his Blueprint T, anyone else?

I'm considering putting stripes on mine...here's a photochop. I'm still trying to decide whether I like it or not.

Cheers

Dave,

Seen you on Footscray Rd a few weeks ago as I was turning onto City Link and mate, your T looks the goods as it is.

For me, stripes used to be GT only but I'm starting to come around and might put some on mine - which is always asking for trouble as it will stand out like dick on a honeymoon.

That vented bulge looks pretty awesome too, how many RWKW gains are there?

Hey Dave have you got the website or a link to HO in melb :spoton:

I reckon you have one of the best looking T's out there I would do the bonnet but give the stripes the flick as you have a unique looking T and the stripes will make it look like you want it to be a GT but its up to you and stripes can be simply pulled off if you dont like them :msm:

pashen, the thing that makes your car so goddam nice is its clean lines and subtle mods that dont stand out like dogs balls and look cheap... so on my behalf its a deinate NO to the stripes :spoton: and ANY of the above really!

looks horn how it sits mate!! :spoton:

Pashen, I agree with the others. I've seen your car before and reckon it's one of the best looking T's I've seen, mainly 'cos of its clean and simple nature - IMHO stripes would ruin that effect. :spoton:

But I've also had my eye on those altezza style lights for a while now and would also be interested to see pics of anyone who's put these on their cars please. :spoton:

Saw a guy with driving a silver XR6 T ute the other week, he had the orange strips but when the strips got an inch or 2 past the doors they turned into flames.

Before you say cheesey they looked very good even the hand brake see how cool it looked.

How long will it be before one of you Hoff lovers have strips that turn into the devils head, hope Im not giving out idears here.

I did the FIRST cosmetic enhancment on my ute yesterday.

Fitted my recently aquired XR8 Bonnet, I LOVE IT.

I got the Bonnet of Joe (XRSEX), great guy, no BS.

I have also but on some DBA 4000 series slotted and cross drilled rotors.

Stripes might be next.
