Hey WBT56,

I was reading a post regarding LSD oil and you mentioned that you used Shell LS 90. I have been to the Shell website and I am after some confirmation from you, regarding which is the correct oil. The 2 that may match your recomendation are.

Shell Helix LSD 90

or

Shell Spirax A 90 LS

Could you please help out with which one is the right one.

Regards, Wes.

If you read the thread on the link I posted above it will explain how to tell if the oil has the friction modifier in it or not. :rain:

Answered your PM, but for all and sundry: Oil used to be called LS90 in a 20 litre, or helix LS 90 in a 1 litre. We have been told by Shell that this oil has superceded to spirax "A" LS90. Possibly not quite as good as the old stuff, but still works fine. Still behaves better than any of the synthetics. Ben.

Thanks again Ben for your time and input to these queries. All the info you splash out on this site has been great. I am also putting Tranzmax Z in The T56 this weeked.

You are a fountain of Lubrication wealth!

I Hope your partner appreciates you. :gooff:
