Just wanted to say Im addicted to BF2. Got it a week ago and can't stop playing it. So awesome.

Yeah it does rock. Very nice indeed!!! Only thing that it lacks is that it does not have bots. Very handy if you're at a LAN with just a few players.

BF 1 ws good enuf, I love games like that! call of cuty, vietcong, their all excellent!

It is the update for Battlefield 1942 and it is UNREAL.

I got it on the 22/6 and have been playing it most nights.

I am on the handle of BigAussieMal and generally play on game arena or Internode.

It is really only a online game as the offline mode is a bit crappy, but I have also got the 32 bot single player mod.

Just make a backup of this file in your

\eagames\battlefield2\mods\bf2\ai directory and then copt this one into there.

If you have a powerful PC you can increase the bots, its just a simple .txt file you can edit in notepad

So what kind of hardware does BF2 need?

I know it needs a decent video card (at least Gf6600?) but aside from that what will run the game adequately.

Currently I have a Athlon 2500 (333fsb) and 512Mb of DDR-400. Looking at getting another 1/2gig of ram and a 256Mb 6600, will that run it?

The game is not overly heavy on hardware, its the video card that will make all the difference
