Thanks for all the responses guys, but maybe a mod should now delete this thread in case any of our wives get to read it!!

Good to hear all the stories, but yeah, whatever works for each of us. I guess at the end of the day we're pretty bloody lucky to be able to have a car like the T in the first place, modded or not. :spoton:

only "sly mods are BOV, panel filter, 2nd CAI.

I'd like to sly mod 19" rims, body kit, APS exhaust, boost gauges, FPV steering wheel, bigger brakes, injectors, springs and fuel pump.

Think she'll notice? :stirthepot:

Think she'll notice? :nono:

19" rims - somebody stole your old ones and these were cheaper

body kit, - she wont notice :spit:

APS exhaust - ditto

boost gauges - do them after she finds out how much you have spent, then use the excuse that you have spent all this money on the car the last thing you want is for it to go bang.

FPV steering wheel - pull the stitching out of the old one, tell her it was a warranty job

bigger brakes - pads wore out cheaper to buy new brakes

injectors - ??? cant see them.. youll be fine

springs - same as above

and fuel pump - now you have that bost gauge you have noticed that your car is getting to much boost and need the pump to fix the A/f ratios

shouldnt be that hard to get away with :spoton:

My Missus modified the T first! She removed the foggies and modded the front bar with a dingo at 180 kph. I can get away with whatever I want.

P.S Just say "Debbie said the T would really suit me with (insert your mod here)"

she'll soon forget the mod you've made.....

WHO'S DEBBIE!!!

I'm afraid my wife would kick me in the you-know-where once for mentioning someone else, and then another for actually doing the mod! :gooff::gooff::spoton:

this thread is a classic,

Its my car (paid for by me) I have my own account and thus she will never know, but she knows I love fast cars and speed so she might catch on when going sideways at 100 clicks :P
