that is HOT! as for the smart cop car.. it couldnt catch a criminal RUNNING from the law

Most if not all of these cars are "promo" cars and are used for publicity and provided by the car companies as loan units.

I remember when I was driving down from Melb Airport I had a Police BMW Z3 pull alongside me and tell me to slow down .

They are police cars Uncle Zap. All police cars are used for publicity to an extent.

I have seen the gto before.....not bad for a holden

Coppas still only get 17 inch rims on the XR8....

18s must be too expensive for them.

the GTO was on loan to the vic police from holden, An XR8 or SS only costs the cops low 30k (remove all the tax and a large percent of ford/holden/dealer profit) throw in the fact that it is good marketing to have the cops useing your performance cars for highway duty so you see them with options such as wheels.

I do have an oldish price list for the cops if anybody wants to see it..
