Your MPH suggests low 13's. When I had 107mph I was doing 13.3 but that's in a manual so you technically should be quicker than that. I would sugget a 13.2 if you have a fantastic run with a 2-2.1 60ft.Practice makes perfect!

Guest rotarick Guests Posted 26/06/05 02:25 AM Posted 26/06/05 02:25 AM I did consider different tyres ie nittos or et streets, but was unsure how my standard auto would cope?

Better luck next time ROTARICK.Peter

It's more his style than the car.Slicks would really not be needed until you start getting into the 11's in a T. Many of the guys are easily in the 12's and a couple in the 11's on street tyres. Slicks would be at the other end of the spectrum of mods required.
Guest rotarick Guests Posted 26/06/05 03:16 AM Posted 26/06/05 03:16 AM Over here in new zealand we run on what is knowen as a goat track by some..Things are alot different than what ive seen of aussie tracks. The other thing is our winter is 11/c today which is good for the turbo, but doesnt seem to be for the traction.Could I risk et streets,or nittos? What will be the limit of the standard auto,I have asked local trans shops and they said they cant strengtn the auto..they only suggested a trans cooler.

Tecnically you should'nt be spinning the wheels launching at those rpm. I was launching at 2800 with 305rwkw at the wheels and getting it reasonably off the mark with minimal spin.Ask geea what his secret is, as he has always got it off the line with no spin.
