G'day All,

My father was tossing up between a honda accord euro and a XR6T. Unfortantly he chose the Honda :spoton: dont get my wrong the car is great but of corse I would have preferd the XR6T. Anyway his the type of guy that likes giving it a bit of a burst here and there and I was just wondering if anyone knows wheather anything can be done to the car to increase power at a relitivly small price...A few hundred dollers or so. Dont really want to rice it up. Heres the specs:

Engine Inline 4 cylinder DOHC I-VTEC

Capacity 2.4-litre – 2,354 cc

Maximum power 140 kW @ 6,800 rpm

Maximum torque 223 Nm @ 4,500 rpm

Control system Honda Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI)

Emission standard Low Emission Vehicle (LEV)

Manual transmission 6-speed

Automatic transmission 5-speed with Sequential Shift and Grade Logic Control

Drive by wire throttle

Fuel type Premium Unleaded

Hopfully somone can help out, thanks.

ummmm, you can't really do anything to anycar for a couple of hundred dollars, unless its an unsophisticated turbo, you can buy boost controller.

check out www.spoon.jp

might be a tad out of the price range but damn...

translation :) that's for the site man...are there any power chips or anything he could put in do u know?

Not for that little money. To get any real gain out of a chip(piggy-back or whatever) in a honda you'd need to go exhaust and intake as well. Would be looking in the ballpark of $3000.

For a few hundred dollars you could get some Nizpro stickers, a couple of neons, and some spinner dress rims ... :spoton::spoton::smilielol:

ahahaha :smilielol:

thanks for your help guys. The accord already has a alright exhaust system. Its a single..not sure what size..then splits into two pipes at the centre muffler then each run though another muffler and come out each side (dual). What type of system coule replace that? Also it wont start sounding like rice will it. Last thing we want is a lancer sound with a 5inch exhaust tip :smilielol:

well , I vote told ya so..... :smilielol: as said a couple hundred bucks is not going to get you anywhere. As for your dad liking to give it bit of a burst , well plainly he should have bought a T :smilielol:
