You deserve to have it go to its maximum, so "just do it" Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/17411-got-a-edit/page/2/#findComment-249895 Share on other sites

It spikes to 13 sometimes but most of the times 12. I would get it dynoed... your boost should be at 10psi (+ - 1) I dont think you would get 13psi from the 10psi standard tune... the problem lies somewhere else. Get it on a dyno. Gap the plugs first :laughrolling: Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/17411-got-a-edit/page/2/#findComment-249900 Share on other sites
igsta Member 371 Member For: 21y 7m 1d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 05/05/05 10:21 AM Author Share Posted 05/05/05 10:21 AM I know I should get it custom tuned and I will. But how can a product like this be sold and be so undriveable. They sould sell it stating a custome tune is necessary with this product. But dosnt making the gap smaller mean the spark is smaller, making less power. Try gapping the plugs first as others have suggested (it's free, only costs you some time) and then if it's still running then go for a custom tune. Some people bag Geeseman for being an "APS stooge" but you don't seem to hear of these problems with Unichip. Maybe because the car is usually dyno tuned as part of the installation process?
