OK, bit of an update.

Gary has been great and rang around the 'Aqualuna Resort' which is just out of Coffs Harbour. Look's nice, pretty spesh, 4 and 1/2 Star. Gary has stayed here and reccomends them.

The Sebel Aqualuna

They are prepared to offer a good deal (bit cheaper than the net price and with breakfast thrown in as well) outside of school holiday/public holidays.

(These are approximate prices mind you) There are Single Room (doubles)@$140 p/n and the Two Room are $180. $70 and $45 per/person respectively.

Full Kitchen and the like and you can also park your car at the front door to keep an eye on it.

If/when the numbers firm up I can get more definates. At the moment it seems about 8 cars interested plus maybe 4 locals?

Is this the kind of accomodation people would like, or would you prefer motel?

Count me in I'll be there or here :-) Anyways yes Aqualuna is very nice, we had visitors stay there last year, the accomodation is like two story town houses, most with spas, air con etc most with ocean views, Oh the resort also backs onto their own privat beach key access.

there are some good drives like out dorrigo way etc.. its a nice area. there are some alright places to stay as well! (novotel pacific bay etc.. lol)

OK. I have done some ringing about today.

The Raleigh International Raceway sounds good.

The packages start from about $22 which buys you 11 laps (about 20 minutes) and go upto a 'Corporate Package' which include's some trophies and champa's and quite a few races and goes for a couple of hours. Also, the guy is a Ford man and says that we can run the T's around in a timed but non-competitive :o lap attack as the track is ALSO a registered CAMS hillclimb track, and take some photo's in front of the podium etc (Just for Lord Cyric and his camera of doom ) The big package is about $70 and they can do lunch/morning tea. There is also a big truck and off road thing as well as other stuff.

Thoughts?

Also, the other call I made today was to Mid City Ford in Grafton. Having a chat with the Sales Manager there and he said he will donate a little prize package together for what we choose (Maybe shiniest car or furthest travelled etc) in return for a Promo shot of the car's in front of the dealership, which will hopefully be in the local rag :o

Slowly coming together. Still no date but Mid-June sounds good.

Deep Sea Fishing Club for dinner.

Saturday:

Waterfall/Bello/Sawtell Run (Morning)

Glenreagh/Grafton Run for the Photo Shoot (Mid City Ford)

Lawrence/South Arm Road run to Maclean (Scottish Town)

Yamba for early dinner and catch some of Ken's Toonz.

Sunday:

Raleigh Karts and Big Tractor thing.

Trip to Ulmarra for lunch and glass purchasing

Trip down to Wooli/Minnie Waters for photo shoots

Head back to coffs via Old Airport Road (aka Tyndale Shortcut)

Monday:

We all do the Ebor run, have an early lunch and go our seperate ways.
