can anyone tell me what colour the wires are that are the pre amp signal runing into the factory amp cause I wand to hook up a new amp and sub can anyone help

I also here that there is no accesories 12v switch wire so do just run one off somthing else that's 12v of the acessories

The accessory wire from the ICC is red (when it connects to the amp)

The signal wires appear to be yellow and a shield... its hard to tell from ford's schematic. how many wires are connected to the amp?

The remote wire won't work from all the testing I've done. For it to work it has to be plugged into the amp inself, so something relies on the diagnostic wire I'd say.

I also assume its different to your normal signal wire due to the wire diameter.

Tap into your accessories wire from the back of the cigarette lighter plug.

and did you guys just run line out converters from the rear sprekers

Yeah but be careful with the level you are putting out from them as I have blown up my amp twice due to the input level being too high (I'm waiting for a couple of transistors in the mail to fix it again). It is very hard to tell whether the level you are using is too high. If you buy better quality level converters (actives ones for example) then you shouldnt have this problem.
