Oh dear. This thread has really exploded with intelligence...  :spit:

However, I did say in an earlier post a resonable on topic debate can not be held on this forum, Mr DOHC and his bogan gang are out of the woods and into the name calling and crap comments about a car...

VERY SAD GUYS! You look soooooooooooooooooo pathetic. Giving myself and evey other person who has a CLUE about anything a good laugh

That better not have been directed at me... Or else I'll fly over there and give you an atomic wedgy.

I am very sceptical about this thread.

I have not read a single credible news article saying that there'll be a turbo V6 from Holden.

Manufacturers always publicise what theyre up to well in advance so that potential buyers begin to wait for the product.

Until I read something credible somewhere, other than some rumor on the internet, I wont believe it.

This thread remains fiction in my mind...

Look guys I am not saying this is true, but I am going on what a Expensive Daewoo worker (manager) who works at the engine plant in the city told me...he may just be bullsh*tting in which case I apologise but he seems serious, he did also say that it was a "secret" designed to catch ford of guared before they can power up the T

I remember the twin turbo V6 Late model camira being the topic of several conversations about a year ago. This is all very old news to me. The jist of the conversation (with a couple of Expensive Daewoo employees) was that the twin turbo will happen, but that it won't really be all that fast. But being Expensive Daewoo people, they could have been full of sh*t too!

But whatever happens, time will tell. For now, I'm happy being in an XR6 Turbo. And even if Expensive Daewoo bring out a turbo that sh*ts all over the XR6T, I'll still be happy in my XR6T. (That will just be more incentive for mods! )

How could anybody and the author of this forum be angry that Expensive Daewoo considering a turbo Late model camira at some later stage. Wont such a vehilce compel Ford to better the XR6T or some other new vehilce or the new Falcon in 2007. Lets bare in mind that Toyota are doing the same thing soon with a Turbo Camry Sportivo and the Mitsubishi Galant, ex magna, is to have a turbo charged variant. This is the future as big V8's will soon die off and ever increasing petrol prices will severely impact upon these types of vehicles. Expensive Daewoo is doing nothing worng but trying to be competitive. The BA XR6T has been out nearly 2 and half years and is miles in front of Expensive Daewoo who is playing catch up, but they did do it first with the VL Turbo, although a Nissan motor, and it was back in 1986.

Regardless boys, our XR's look the best and have the best looken dash in the world.
