There are limits to the mechanical strength of the auto trans that need to be addressed before putting 300rwkw through it. While the transmission programming in the Flasher will allow calibration of the auto shifts and pressures, it wont physically make the band and clutches stronger. My suggestion is to do both.

The BA PCM will not drive low impedence injectors directly. This is a limitation of the injector drive hardware inside the computer rather than anything to do with the software. Much like an other factory PCM out there, low impedence injectors can be used if an inline ballast resistor is fitted to the injectors power supply.

Thanks Spiro...or would using the edit in conjunction with the Unichip overcome this?

Macka, get dw to stick on the trans cooler for one, do that ASAP.

Second, spend the 1500 or so on getting the better quality bands and clutchpacks.

Sure, the edit might give you a few more kw and change some other thigns for you, but I believe that you already have the power you want and that spending anymore money in the performance department is a waste. So unless you really wanted to up the boost further, get rid of the torque reduction, etc etc, then go the edit AS WELL as the upgrade, but in my opinion I think you only need the cooler + auto upgrade.

Just do it! You know you want to!

Macka,

How about you give me around 50RWKW from your car which coincides with the increase that I'm looking for....240-250RWKW.

Now that way your gearbox etc are safe and you wont spend any further money, secondly I dont have to spend anything either......sounds fair??
