Yep. Very happy with mine. Nice to cut that 11.9 last night.

Still got a bit of sorting out to do with the launch though.

Best 60' last night was 2.0 (on the 11 second run).

Big thanks to Simon(Nizpro), Bruce(badxr6),Martin(street Tuner), &

Dave at KPM Motorsport for all helping me get the ute to this stage.

The best thing was seeing so many other Ts out there racing.

better adjust you sig johnny (sick)

Just a report card from AIR tonight. Some good things happening with the Edit.

Badxr6 with 12.3 and 121mph. Who knows how fast a manual can go?

Boost6 only three runs for the night (had to go home to mum) but walks one over the line with 11.9

Shifty. Never really raced before, in a dead stock car save for some injectors pumps out 12.9 @ 112

The 'dealer' car a 5 speed XR8 with the cheapest non-intercooled Vortech with 12.7 @ 115 on genuine road tyres

'Brutus' running nearly 111mph in a manual GT with just an exhaust

Pretty good for some first timers! while others just plugged away. There are going to be some fast cars here VERY shortly

I changed from a piggyback to a edit a couple of days ago and what a difference.

Piggyback made  249rwkws

Edit made 269rwkws with the same mods,+s for the edit are

smooth idle

no more stalling

trans shifts very firm

rev limiter now comes in at 6500

more constant smooth power

no overboost

The car ran a 12.9@112mph with only a custom map and only few mods,

edit

injectors

cold air intake

very happy would recomend it

and well done pete on your 12.9 I know you wanted to do one so whats next every body always wants more :censored:

well after going for a spin today it might off been wheel spin the tyres I ran you cant tell if they are spining. so I will try some different tyres first and see before I take the clutch out also when the car was on the dyno last week with the tyres on we had some isues and lost a lot of rubber on the dyno so I might have stuffed them :pooh:

Martin they are some nice numbers. But I think to give everyone a true indication of the edit they need to be put in context. Before I go any further remember that I like the edit and will probably have HPF (my tuner), install it in my car sometime in the future.

Boost6 has only gained 0.03 of a second and no rwkw's.

When my old car had the same mods as shifty with the addition of no centre muffler it ran 12.8@112. with the same mods and the cat made more free flowing it got to as low as 12.2@116 I think.

I'm in noway putting down Boost6 or Shifty. I think they have done fantastically and I applaud them for being at the forefront of the edit development and making the path easier for those that will follow.

These 2 examples wouldn't be encouraging people too much. I was impressed with Bruce gaining 6mph. That is a big gain. I think the launch control may need alittle refining though.

While I agree that the edit is a fine product it still has a long way to go development wise. 12 months down the track I believe that we will be seeing some great numbers and times but at this stage the results are only average. When tuners have had alot more hours actually tuning cars I think we will see times fall a great deal.

I'll repeat that I'm not critising or putting anything down just putting things in perspective.
